For the last several years I have focused on publishing about women. Over history, women have often not been rewarded with publicity or acknowledgement of contribution. This is especially true of those before modern times. Because of the subservience, desired or not, of women, there have been instances where a man has taken credit for the work of a woman. On the other hand, some men have been careful to acknowledge the important of women. The male botanists of old are a good example of this care. In addition, there have been many women who are activists, no matter what!
Books focusing on women follow. Find them as paperback or Kindle, as poems or prose.
